Product design is well known for its problem solving skills and in my 6 years of experience in product design, I've designed many products to cater different user needs.
This was my final year project in Lasalle College of the Arts when I was pursuing my bachelors (Hons) degree.
It is stated as a fact that family bonding time has reduced due to many reasons. In this case, it is mobile phones. Have you ever encounter situations where you are with your family, and your family members keep their heads down on their phones rather than chatting with one another, updating each other's lives? We all could not deny that mobile phone has become part of our lives. Well, sometimes it is good to take a break from it. I have developed this product to encourage family bonding using a device that brings families together and putting their phones aside for a while.
Moving on to a new website, I was tasked to design a new interface that displays the features of the products that the company is selling.
It is quite challenging as the content and the design has to be clear and straightforward so that the potential buyers will not be confused.
As designing a normal website is not good enough, I feel that there is a need to have features that will catch the attention of the people in order to bring in sales. However, there are limitations on building the website, so I decided to add in custom code to make the website look awesome!
